The Issue
It is time we change the name of Griffith Middle School in East Los Angeles. Griffith is actually named after David Wark Griffith (D.W. Griffith) who is famous for making a silent movie called "Birth of a Nation" based off a book called the "Clansman" that glorified the KKK.
His film is responsible for the mass hysteria & helped to create the fictional history of the "White South". His movie led to MASS LYNCHINGS & INCREASED JIM CROW OPPRESSION of Blacks, Natives, Mexicans and other oppressed minorities.
