Cell towers do not belong in or near our parks because it is the opinion of the medical and scientific communities that they may pose a threat to the health and safety of our children and others who use these public spaces, and, to residents and their homes in surrounding neighborhoods. Further, cell towers in or near our parks will decrease property values, will be a visual eyesore, can open the door for co-location of additional towers, and will be a permanent and toxic fixture in the park and its adjacent communities. We strongly oppose the installation of the proposed AT&T cell tower or any other cell tower in or near the Studio City Recreation Area (Beeman Park).  Signed:  BEEMAN PARK COALITION
