Our administrative hearing to contest the Animal Control Citation for excessive noise is August 8 at 10:30 at the Castaic Animal Shelter for anyone who would like to attend. Our next-next-door neighbor in Hillcrest will be presenting her evidence in support of the citation that our roosters, dogs, guinea fowl and “other” animals are making excessive noise in violation of Los Angeles County Ordinance 10.40.060. It is ironic that this hearing is almost one year to the day after our previous hearing, where we thought we were fully vindicated.
