LA City Leaders: Build Affordable Homes, Not a Hotel At The Former Bethune Library Site

0 have signed. Let’s get to 500!

We call on the City of Los Angeles elected officials  to prioritize public land for public good by committing to use the site of the former Bethune Library, a vacant 34,000 square foot city-owned parcel located at 3685 S. Vermont Avenue, for the development of  affordable housing, as residents have continuously called for for the past decade.

The UNIDAD Coalition and over 20 organizations from South Los Angeles have signed on to a public letter for elected officials stating our opposition to a hotel and highlighting the need for affordable housing in South Los Angeles.
