Last Week Jason Zinoman, Comedy columnist at The New York Times and author of Searching for Dave Chappelle, made the following tweets about James Adomian's performance as Bernie Sanders:

• "Adomian’s Bernie voice is a marvel. His improv is consistently smart. It’s when he spins into nonsense that he reaches Dana Carvey-levels"
• "Imagine the debate sketches with James Adomian’s Bernie and Kate McKinnon’s Hillary. Instant classics. Every one."
• "Why SNL hasn’t hired James Adomian is truly perplexing. If they did tomorrow, the show would be 400 percent better."
• "UCB Debate last night btw Anthony Atamanuik’s Trump + James Adomian’s Bernie was funniest political sketch id seen this season. #whiplash"
