Chieftain for Clan Muir

Chieftain for Clan Muir
The Issue
Clan Muir currently doesn't have a chieftain, but I would like to propose myself as a worthy candidate. First of all, my name is Graeme Muir and I am a retired solicitor so will be able to devote time to Clan Muir. I was born in Glasgow, went to school and University there and passionately believe the Clan Muir should rightly have a Chieftain. I remember going with my father (Matthew Muir) in 1962 (when I was 8 yrs old) to a Clan gathering at Inveraray Castle (with the Campbells!) and it was a wonderful occasion. I wore my kilt to school, still wear it )not the same one!) and would be proud to be the Clan Chief. The Clan motto is 'Durum Patient Frango' (By patience, I break what is hard) - this may be a big ask, but please support my petition. By this petition we acknowledge Graeme Muir as our Chieftain of Clan Muir to reclaim our status as a Clan.
