Happy New Year, and thank you to everyone who has supported the proposal for bicycle infrastructure on Long Beach Road. While we have made progress, the fight is not over. We need another strong push heading into the spring to keep this moving forward. As of now Public Works is standing by their decision. With the upcoming construction of a Veteran's housing facility in the area the utility of safe bicycle infrastructure through this corridor is even more important. 

If you have not already done so, please take a moment to email Legislator Mullaney and urge his support for this project. Continued public pressure matters and every message helps reinforce the need for bicycle infrastructure in our community.
