As expected, Nassau County has determined they can't (more like don't want to) make this corridor safer for cyclists. They already designated this a bicycle route, but refuse to make it safer for cyclists. 

I urge everyone to reach out to the traffic engineering department and to follow up with Legislator Mullaney's office
