Please read this important update.

I would like to inform you that I have received another email from Councillor Grace Williams, who is the leader of Waltham Forest Council.

The email was regarding the article about the bad state of the Hare and Hounds football ground that was mentioned on the Sun newspaper website last month.

Councillor Williams thanked me for bringing the article about the abandoned Leyton FC football ground to her attention. 

This is the second time that the Hare and Hounds football ground has been mentioned on a national newspaper website. Also, I have noticed that a number of people have been sharing the article on the bad state of the local non-league football ground on their Facebook pages, which will hopefully increase awareness of the campaign and get more people to sign the online petition.

If you are involved in local grassroots football in Waltham Forest, Hackney, Newham, Tower Hamlets, and beyond and you want the Hare and Hounds site to remain as a football ground, then it is very important that you contact Councillor Williams. May I suggest that you send an email at this address:

It is very important that Councillor Williams hear your point of view that you want local football to return to the Hare and Hounds ground for the local community in the Lea Bridge area in Waltham Forest.
