This access road is now used by a high volume pedestrians to access two organizations in Glenthorne Mews for their services i.e. 92 Dental (a dental practice) and the West London Counselling Service. Many of these pedestrians are children, the elderly or disabled people.

Why this is important:

1. As there is no pavement,  vehicle traffic is dangerous to the pedestrians, and since there is a garage under the arches beyond the Mews, there is a high volume of vehicles.

2. As there is no controlled parking the access road is often partially blocked with vehicles which would make it extremely difficult for an ambulance to access Glenthorne Mews in case of a medical emergency.

By supporting this petition we hope to convince the council to upgrade this short section of road to a named highway  with a pavement for pedestrians and yellow lines etc so that it can be policed.  At the moment it cannot be policed as it does not have this status.
