Formal Presentation of the Petition

Dear All, It's been a little quiet on the Penge petition front. That's because it's been a little quiet on the response front from Bromley Council. If you listen hard enough you might even hear the tumbleweed rolling past! But we have no intention of giving up or going away. I have applied to formally present the petition at the council's next Full Council Meeting on Monday 4th July at the Civic Centre in Bromley, which is open to the public. I will post more details as soon as it's confirmed (Bromley Council have to check the petition signatures first). You might also be interested to know that I have applied under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for data relating to the council's waste services budget and spend by ward for the last two years - so that we can all have some clarity as to what is being spent, how and where.
