The numbers of COVID-10 affected cases in India are growing exponentially, with Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Kerala and Delhi, being the most affected states. The numbers have crossed 280, and are growing faster than ever. Although, voluntary social distancing has been advised, but it is being followed only till some extent. The literates are more to be blamed for this, not illiterates, since literates are the ones who are viewing this social distancing as more of a holiday. 

What seems to be the best situation right now, is to impose a lockdown, by allowing people to leave their homes, only for very essential purposes. If we have to control the numbers, this is the only way to do it. This is the only solution to curb this pandemic. Well, the economy would be affected. But not for just a few of us, but for everyone. We all can revive it later, when our lives are out of danger. 

If staying inside can stop the effect of this pandemic, then why not do it sooner, than later. As they say, one cannot be too cautious in this scenario. China was able to fight the problem with lockdowns. Italy and USA have opted for the lockdown route, so we know we have to opt for this sooner or later. Then, why not before it claims more lives?
