Update on Npt. Farmer's Market

I presented our petition to the Npt. Village Board today and spoke at the virtual meeting. The Mayor is not officially cancelling it; it is now "postponed".  Trustee Mercy Smith volunteered to head a committee to come up with a plan to present to the Board at the next meeting to address the Mayor's concerns.  I volunteered to be a part of it and have already been in contact with Trustee Smith. News12 interviewed me today, and this story will be aired later on today/this evening.  Even Newsday got wind of the story and was present in the meeting!!!  Thank you for all of your support!! You made a difference!  I'll keep you updated via my Facebook page and change.org.
