Recent media reports have raised valid concerns among locals regarding the future of the Bluewater Lagoon, especially following that LSA is in the process of liquidation.

 This situation has left many current and former staff members in financial distress, with unpaid wages and superannuation still unresolved.

Now more than ever, our community needs to restore trust in the Lagoon, not just the Mackay's Bluewater Lagoon but all facilities that LSA are contracted to.

The Bluewater Lagoon is a popular destination, but were it needs to be a safe, professionally run facility where lifeguard standards and emergency readiness are paramount.
