AB:1145 Bill is officially set for April 28th and will be a consent item.  Meaning that the Committee is in agreeance and there is NO need for testimony.  This will pass!!!!      The Bill - I'm still waiting for "Language" but pretty much it is going to be "A STUDY FROM CALTRANS" on Palms to Pines Highway 74.  Please don't get discouraged this is a process that we will need to do for change(s) to be made.  The California Truck Association is very BIG and if this is what they want from us (A STUDY), then we will give it to them. We need to continue to fight during Caltrans Study.  Once the Study is complete we will go back and make amendments for changes on Highway 74.   We can not do this alone our lives are in danger on Hwy 74. Please if you see a semi truck; tractor-trailer; etc. driving reckless get information on the truck and or get a video if you can.  For Bicyclist continue to contact CHP & Caltrans with your experiences and also the following information that you will need for the trucks -  is the DOT number located on the cab of the truck; The CA Number also located on the side of the Truck; The Company and last the License Number on the trailer.  You can send you complaints to the following:
