Stop Newsham Park Mental Hospital from being used as a ghost hunt venue

The Issue

Tonight (10th July 2015) is the first day of a string of "ghost hunts" taking place at ex Orphanage and Mental Hospital, Liverpool's Newsham Park Hospital.
We believe that the brutality and injustice faced by the mentally ill and disabled who once occupied Newsham Park hospital should not be used as a form of entertainment for others as it is inappropriate and disrespectful.
The stigma surrounding mental illness will never be eradicated if we continue to let this building be used as a way to instil the idea that people with mental health problems are people to be afraid of.

The tickets for these ghost hunts are priced at £69- capitalising on other's misery. The website selling these tickets describes the venue as having a "sinister feel" and as being "frightening".
