Today Boris Johnson has been named Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.

Many may have viewed Johnson as a harmless clown in the past but I think over the last few weeks we have all become informed about his racism, sexism and homophobic views.

Amidst all his terrible views and actions, he has also managed to continually insult and belittle our proud city of Liverpool with some frankly disgusting comments and endorsements of slurs over the years.

Prime Minister or not, Boris Johnson should not be welcomed into our city and we should send a message that bigots have no place in Liverpool.
