Please Demand Dedicated Government Support for UK Frontline Police Officers

Frontline policing carries pressures few people see.  LIVE WELL-WORK WELL COP SUPPORT works to protect and improve officers’ health, wellbeing, and ability to keep serving safely.

LIVE WELL-WORK WELL COP SUPPORT demands immediate action from government and all relevant authorities to recognize, support and improve

• the physical and mental well-being of our frontline police officers,
•  especially an urgent change of frontline police uniforms and footwear  adapted to extremely hot or cold weather extremes,  
• supply of light-weight thermos bottles holding an adequate liquid volume supply (right now such bottles contain just "one swallow")
• free vouchers for at least one healthy cooked meal per day plus free seasonal fruit.  
• Furthermore please petition the government and all relevant authorities including your local MP to introduce non-negotiable custodial sentences and high fines for any assault - verbal or physical - on a police officer. 
• It must NEVER be part of the job of a police officer having to accept such assaults.  The respect denied to service frontline police is respect denied to the will of the public.
• Please also campaign for police officers having access to immediate help with mental trauma without any negative impact on their pay or health
• Immediate support for physical health issues (e.g. present uniforms - especially the low quality and tight inadequate cut of trousers and footwear can have a painful long-term  detrimental effect on the health of officers and
• can cause serious damage for life including heart and venous complaints as well as muscular tension  or back problems for life
