UPDATE FROM LITHGOW COUNCIL

Lithgow council has confirmed there has been 2 applications submitted for proposed repurposing the WALLERAWANG power plant.

The most serious is using the area to DISPOSE OF ASBESTOS the way they do this is by digging 2x2m wholes and filling them with asbestos and covering them over. This WILL contaminate the soil and nearby fauna. It will endanger the wildlife and near by residents.
