As we approach the 3 year anniversary of the Wakasa Memorial Stone being removed from the Topaz National Historic Site, we wanted to let you know about an opportunity to visit Topaz and learn more about its history from survivors and descendants.

Japanese American Memorial Pilgrimages is organizing a 4 day pilgrimage to Topaz and Salt Lake City September 6-9. Speakers include Karen Korematsu, authors Kiku Hughes and Emily Inouye Huey, filmmaker Claudia Katayanagi, and journalist/historian Nancy Ukai.
