As you all know I have had many health issues over the last year, and have stepped back from running for district one. Due to my health issues I believe if I am unable to give 100% to my district I would not be a suitable candidate for district one. However today I am excited to support and stand with Michael Tubbs, who is not only a great friend of my family, but has the same belief system that I do. Teachers and staff of LISD this is the man you want to sit on your board. I will continue to communicate with teachers, staff and parents on the problems they are facing and communicate your concerns with Michael. He will speak for educators, and staff and will help to get rid of the good ole boy mentality. So district one voters this is your time to make a difference in our district and show the current board you are ready for change. As for me I stand behind him and he has my full support. The following is the press release sent to the LNJ that has not yet been printed. So you are the first to know and I will continue to help Michael in any way I can to make our district better: Michael Tubb Announces Candidacy for Longview ISD Board of Trustees Seeking to Represent District One LONGVIEW (February 7, 2018) – Michael (“Tubbs”) Tubb announced today that he is running for Longview ISD Board of Trustees.
