The meeting being held at the Longview coliseum for “teachers retirement “ is to hear a man named Scott Milder who is running for lieutenant governor. This is only to try to get votes from teachers for the upcoming elections by trying to scare teachers in to believing that the teacher retirement system is under attack and that this man will fix it. So the district is having an unscheduled early release for all teachers to listen to a damn politician. They sent an email to the campus leaders to show them the ways that they can help mobilize the education vote. In this email they are asked to avoid using staff meetings or district email, but as you all know LISD never plays by the rules and always hides the truth. The email goes on to state how administration needs to give incentives for those who go vote. And to encourage staff to vote early February 20th through March 2nd… THIS IS ALL FOR VOTES!!!! And yet we are letting our district do this.
