I sit here on a Sunday afternoon watching my kids play, thinking of all the things I would do in my power to make sure they get what they deserve for an education. Then I check my updates on change.org and I become disappointed at the last know of interest show any longer by the community. I have explained that this is going to be a long journey to better our school district. After the last update the lack of response by teachers staff and the community is disappointing. It seems to me it was a popular subject for a while, now the school board has gotten what they wanted, it all to be swept under the rug. I made a promise to help with your support, and thank you to the people who have. Unfortunately we need more help. This issue has seem to have fallen off everyone's radar. I can not do this on my own. I am sorry I have failed all those who reached out to me. I am one person who always has refused to give up, and never backs down for what is right, but now as I sit here wanting to help I realize there are very few if any still behind me. Don't you want teachers staff and students to have a better work environment? I do, but without more support I am forced to failure. I applaud our teachers and staff at lisd for being strong and continuing to teach our children. Thank you Jason Bates
