Good morning to all:
As of now I have 128 signatures on the petition, this is great!
Please share to get more to sign. I am trying to reach a goal of 300 signatures to present to the Board, along with the many letters I have received from current teachers and staff with their concerns, which all letters will remain anonymous. If you do not feel like sending me an email at bates0680@gmail.com due to wanting to remain anonymous, you may also send your concerns to me via US mail with no return address, and no names enclosed to remain anonymous. I make a promise to all of you that I will protect your identities so that no retaliation will come your way. my address is: 1007 Brown Rd
Longview,TX 75605
Please help in anyway to end the corruption of our district and make LISD's teachers, staff, and students have a better place to work, teach, and learn. As a community we CAN make a difference. Our board members elected job is to listen to us, the community, not ignore us and run the district without our suggestions. They are supposed to speak for us! Vote these board members out when their election time comes up. This will send a message to the other board members that we want a positive change. Be present at school board meetings, and continue to strive for a better work environment for out teachers, staff, and students. I am a hard working "normal" parent of children in the district, that has to work hard for my family to have the things they need. I depend on a school district , when I send my children to school to teach them how to handle life's struggles with a quality education from teachers who are glad to teach because they are supplied the things they need , and support from their superintendent , school board , and principals. Please once again sign this petition, send your letters of concern, and help me, a normal everyday hard working parent, to change our district to a great place to work, and learn. To all teachers and staff at LISD I thank you for your continuous efforts to educate our children under such harsh conditions, you are the true hero's in my book.
Thank You All,
Jason Bates
