Now that the holidays are over and it is a new year, I am back to trying to find a way to help fix the issues with LISD. I spoke with a someone with the TEA today to see if a representative could come to Longview to hear from the community and teachers about the problems we are facing with our current administration. This man that I spoke with was appalled at what is going on in the district, but unfortunately not able to send a representative up to hear from us as a community due to the fact it was not an attendance, or financial issue. The information he gave me was to continue to speak out at board meetings until we are heard. We all know this will not happen. I will not give up and will continue to fight. So as for a town hall forum with a TEA rep there, this will not happen, but what I would like to happen is to get churches, teachers, staff, and parents together and fight this tyrannical administration to FIX the issues in our district's schools. Teachers, and staff at LISD please continue to send me your emails . With these emails in hand, with names not available to the administration I will bring these issues and letters to their attention. With the election time coming for some of the Board members on the ballots , let us vote them out. The more we speak up as a community the more they will be forced to listen. We can make a difference in our school's . Please stand with me and we will speak as a community, and help our children, teachers, and staff.
