Meeting with Representative Nguyen went well.  Myself (and others) will be speaking to the House Committee on Wednesday February 1st at 9am at the Arizona Capitol regarding  HB2167 (The Ashley Dunn Act) to hold the supplier of the fatal dose accountable for murder.  Make sure you reach out to House Reps and Senators to show your support on holding those accountable.  This isn't the only thing needed to fight this crisis, it's just a small part of the solution but we need to start somewhere.   We need to keep advocating to secure the border to stop/slow down entry of the drugs into the USA.  We need to advocate for more treatment options and a continuum of care to help addicts learn/obtain the tools necessary for long term sobriety.  And we need to educate, educate, educate to help prevent more tragic losses and spread awareness of the risk of this deadly poison.
