Dear Supporters,

I hope you are all doing well and staying safe. I imagine many of you have already heard the news: The Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) has declined to hear the legal challenge to Nestle’s case brought forth by Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation (MCWC) and the Grand Traverse Band of Ottawa and Chippewa Indians. This came as a shock to me as I imagine it did to many of you, but we should not lose hope. My goal is to refocus our efforts on writing and passing bills that will protect our water and provide grounds for a stronger legal challenge.
