Dear Supporters, With Nestle’s permit on the brink of approval I believe it is necessary to reach out to other groups who are working towards the same goals. Recently, I contacted For Love of Water (FLOW), which is an organization of lawyers dedicated to fighting for water rights, and Michigan Citizens for Water Conservation (MCWC), who you may have heard about through their work in Flint as well as a previous Nestle lawsuit. These two organizations are collaborating to challenge Nestle’s permit as well as to draft legislation to reform state water withdrawal policies.
