Change is Coming...

Dear Supporters, There has been lots of recent activity regarding the Nestle’s permit application! Better yet, it is getting considerable attention, so PLEASE, continue to spread the word! Here are the most recent events: Bloomberg Businessweek published an article in their September issue that included many of the key points emphasized in our petition. The link to the article is pasted below. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2017-09-21/nestl-makes-billions-bottling-water-it-pays-nearly-nothing-for Remember the MDEQ request I notified you about in my last update? The deadline for Nestle to submit their environmental impact test results to the MDEQ was yesterday (November 3). This shows that even the MDEQ has their doubts about the increase, so we need to keep the pressure mounting! Most recently, the Osceola Township Planning Commission actually denied Nestle a permit to build a new pumping station. This is an important decision, as this was part of Nestle’s permit increase application plan. Nestle appealed the court’s decision, and the case is now to be heard on November 15th. As always, continue to spread the word to friends, family, and all who would be interested in signing. Now is a more crucial time than ever, and we need to continue to increase the number of supporters for this very important and still relatively unknown issue! Sincerely, Yousef Emara
