Dear Fellow Supporters, I'm excited to share that I have successfully connected with the MDEQ and the media. On August 29th, we dropped off our signatures at the MDEQ and held a meeting with Matt Gamble, the supervisor of the Source Water Unit at the MDEQ. In addition, I reached out to media to publicize the petition. As a result, an article was published in MLive/The Ann Arbor News, on August 17th. I also have an upcoming interview on "Issues of the Environment" on 89.1 WEMU. Most importantly, I would like to thank all of you for helping us surpass 50,000 supporters. We have become a significant factor in the MDEQ's decision regarding whether or not to approve Nestle's permit increase application. But, OUR WORK IS NOT COMPLETE; we need to spread the word to as many people as possible and gather even more support because as you read this, the MDEQ is working towards A FINAL DECISION.
