No Cell Phones at Lunch or Recess Come Spring Semester!

I am thrilled to announce that we had a constructive and productive meeting with Principal Garcia last week.  

It was valuable to hear her perspective and the challenges she and the West staff face with the handling and management of cell phones with middle school students. In the meeting, we were able to present this petition, the research, and our beliefs on the issue. 

We are excited to report that West will no longer allow cell phones at lunch or recess come Spring semester! 

With deep appreciation of you all and Principal Garcia’s willingness to make meaningful change, we are making incremental steps toward protecting the well being and education of our students!
