Fox 4's Alex Boyer reported this evening on the unreported Oak Lawn attacks and an important topic came up. There are several reasons someone who is attacked may decide not to report an attack. Sometimes they are not out, undocumented, intoxicated, don't trust the police, fear retalition, or fear media attention. If you are attacked, know that the police have only one goal - to catch the attackers. If you do not want to call the police, please report the attack anonymously using the iWatch Dallas phone application. This will allow police to have an idea of what happened and be able to tie any descriptions and circumstances to those of other attacks and it could help finally get the perpetrators off of our streets.
