After several exterior sidewalk lighting issues were identified and reported by us, other citizens, and councilman Adam Medrano, Kroger has responded by stating that they would address the issues "first thing in the morning". It is encouraging for us to finally see our local businesses stepping up and doing their part. We have inclinations that in the next week or so we will hear that many others are also joining this movement to light up Oak Lawn and reduce crime. Please be sure to thank and patronize businesses in the area who increase lighting, add cameras, and take action!
