I would like to thank you for signing our petition supporting the landmarking of Gilbert Baker's iconic Rainbow Flag installation at Harvey Milk Plaza in San Francisco. Your support was crucial in turning back efforts to change this work of art into a community flagpole flying other flags.
But now the final push for landmarking is at hand!
In a few short months we will be going in front of the San Francisco Historical Commission to make our case for the official landmarking of this unique work of art Your past support of the change.org petition will be a key factor when the commission is weighing our case, but there is so much more we need to do!
We urgently need to undertake a massive educational outreach campaign to supplement our petition and enhance our chances of success. Can you help?
