After hearing from concerned business owners, workers, and consumers, the Lexington Parking Authority did make some amendments to their regulations and rates. The newly approved implementation plan will include the following:

• Hour changes from MONDAY-FRIDAY 8 AM-5 PM, to MONDAY-SATURDAY 9 AM-9 PM
• 2 Hour Parking will be increased to 4 Hour Parking (After 5:00) 
• Saturday Rates are only $1 an hour
• Areas that are currently $0.50 per hour will now be $0.75 per hour
• Areas that are currently $1 per hour will now be $1.50 per hour
• Areas that are currently $1.50 per hour will now be $2 per hour

This is not enough! We must take this to our City Council and bring our elected officials into the matter to reach a better resolution. Please continue to share because we are making progress! Thank you for your support so far, and I can't wait to see what else we'll be able to accomplish!
