Thank you for your support 7 years ago when we were fighting for planning permission to create a new hall for church and community use at St Mildred's Church, Lee. It's been a long slog, but we're well on the way to completing the building, hopefully early in 2027, and being able to welcome you into it. We're also well on the way to paying for it, having raised over 90% of a total cost of over £4m. We're aiming to be a very energy efficient building, with PV cells on the church roof and air source heat pumps for carbon-free heating. We still need to raise the cost of the heat pumps and have a fantastic offer from Aviva Insurance. They have agreed to match £1 for £1 all donations made between now and 3rd December, up to £250 per donor (one matched donation per donor) to a maximum of £25,000.   This means that if you give £10, we will receive about £21.40 (net of fees and assuming that Gift Aid applies).   In order to qualify for matched funding, donations have to be made online through Crowdfunder.co.uk using this link:
