Planning permission refused

Thank you very much to everyone who supported our petition. Along with signatures collected on paper locally, we submitted over 2000 signatures collected in just one week. The planning committee met on 14th November and the degree of local support was noted. Planning permission, however, was refused by the casting vote of the chair, four of the 8 councillors present having supported us. We'll be back again in due course but need to work out what changes we need to get this through. In the mean time, if you would like to support us, and enjoy an evening of excellent music on Sunday 8th December at 6pm, please see details of our Christmas concert, attached. Please tell your friends about it too. We look forward to welcoming you to St Mildred's church, and still look forward even more to welcoming you to a new hall in due course.
