In 2020, Robert Lewandowski had one of the greatest football seasons in history, winning the treble with Bayern Munich and finishing top scorer in every competition.

Yet the Ballon d'Or was canceled due to the pandemic — despite every team playing under the same format.

We demand that France Football and UEFA recognize Lewandowski with a retroactive Ballon d'Or, delivered in a simple, traditional manner (no ceremony needed) — perhaps with officials handing it over to Lewandowski and other award winners at stadiums.

Even though many leagues were cancelled, it dosen't justify anything because everyone knows that Lewandowski would've won it regardless of other league results.
