Hi everyone, After getting Level 1 Science students to trial the program via the familiarisation program yesterday and getting feedback, the Science Department has decided to revert back to using paper exams. There will be a voluntary trial later in the examination week in around two weeks where some students will volunteer to sit and trial the program and providing feedback to the school. Hopefully this trial will be helpful for the school and NZQA to improve on how they execute examinations digitally, and to improve the digital program and system itself. It is also an opportunity for students to sit another test as revision before the actual external in November. (And before you ask, yes, I will be doing the trial myself as well to help.) I don't know if this petition had much impact in the decision of the department, but nevertheless, thank you all for signing this petition.
