As a new week approaches, so does the deadline to decide whether to appoint or call for a special election to fill the two board member vacancies.  There were plans to have a board meeting scheduled for March 30th; however, since Alex Cantu and Nereyda Cantu expressed their support for a special election, the meeting will not happen till April.

It seems that some want to play games � No Meeting means that everything else that needs board approval is also put on hold, so at the end of the day, who is suffering?  Our children are!!  I can recall that many preached that their reason for wanting to serve was to listen to the parents, end politics, and make sure everyone had a fair shot!  Therefore, let's put this into action and call for a special election! 

To my community, we must continue to push for a special election!  We cannot let a select few decide for us.  When we handed over our trust to a select few, look at what they did in return! Enough is enough. Let’s take back what is ours! Share petition via text, WhatsApp, Facebook. etc.
