The Issue

A Personal Note-

I started this petition because I believe we — as Indians and as human beings — cannot stay silent while a humanitarian aid ship, the Madleen, is being threatened for trying to reach Gaza.

This ship carries no weapons — only food, medicine, and hope. It is part of a civilian effort to bring relief to a besieged population, where children are dying not just from bombs, but from hunger and preventable disease.

I speak from an Indian perspective — from a land that was born out of anti-colonial resistance and stands for peace. But this petition is not just for Indians.
It is open to people around the world who believe in protecting humanitarian missions and defending the right to life.

Every signature sends a message:
Let the Madleen sail. Let humanity survive.

📕What's Happening-

A ship called Madleen is carrying urgently needed humanitarian aid — food, medicine, and supplies — to the people of Gaza, who are facing starvation, displacement, and destruction under relentless bombing and siege.

The ship has no weapons — only compassion.

But the crew — doctors, journalists, and volunteers from around the world — are under serious threat. Reports say Israeli authorities may attack, sink, or intercept the ship.

This is not just an attack on a boat.

👉🏽 It is an attack on humanity.

👉🏽 It is an attack on food, medicine, and the right to live.

Who is Impacted?

Over 2 million civilians in Gaza, half of them children, are cut off from food, clean water, and hospitals.

Doctors, aid workers, and volunteers aboard the Madleen are risking their lives for peace.

The whole world is watching: will we protect human life — or stay silent as it is destroyed?

⚠️ What is at Stake?

If the Madleen is attacked or blocked, it will:

Prevent life-saving aid from reaching dying families.

Set a dangerous precedent: that peaceful humanitarian missions can be silenced with violence.

Show that even those trying to help can be targeted without accountability.

But if we act now, we can:

Build international pressure to protect the ship.

We show that people from every corner of the globe — from India to Indonesia, South Africa to Sweden — still believe in justice

We protect future aid efforts

We may literally save lives.

🕊️ Why Now?

Because the threats are mounting now.

Because waiting costs lives.
