Consider attending the Wasatch County Planning Commission meeting on Thursday, March 30th at 5:30 pm.  It will be held in the Wasatch County Senior Citizens Center located at 465 East 1200 South in Heber City. Numerous attendees are anticipated so you are encouraged to arrive early for seating purposes.

The Church will be proposing an amendment to Wasatch County's current dark sky ordinance. The proposed amendment would drastically increase the county planning staff's ability to regulate and strengthen Wasatch County's status as a dark sky community.

If you desire to be involved in this process, whether in writing or attending in person, we ask you to be kind and respectful to all those who will share opinions, regardless of if they align with yours. Please follow the counsel of Church leaders when it comes to civil discourse. The local officials who serve our community by sitting on the commission or council should also be respected, even if you disagree with their vote or decision.
