Existing California legislation regulating homemade beer and wine is unnecessarily restrictive and inconsistent with other progressive states' legislation.

Under current California law, it is illegal to share homemade beer and wine with your friends outside your home. In fact, the only time it is legal to remove homemade beer or wine from your home is to enter it into a competition, where it can only be tasted by the judges.
