I’ve been a devoted listener of CHUM FM since the 1980s, growing up with the familiar voices of my favourite radio DJs waking me up each morning.

When David Corey joined the Marilyn Denis Morning show back in September 2024, the chemistry was instant, and their camaraderie truly resonated with me and many other listeners. While it's bittersweet to see Marilyn retire after decades of unforgettable mornings, she has undoubtedly earned this new chapter in her life.

This announcement brings an exciting opportunity for CHUM FM to involve its loyal audience in shaping the future of the morning show. David Corey has proven his on-air charisma and strong connection with Marilyn, and I believe he should continue to be a staple of the morning program.  All he needs is another dynamic female Co-host!

Allowing the listeners to have a voice in this decision would honour the community that has supported CHUM FM for decades.  It can be as simple as conducting a listener survey or holding a public poll to gather input on the new co-host selection process.
