Soul Eater is a Japanese Manga series that was written and illustrated by Atsushi Ōkubo in 2004. It was later adapted into a anime, animated by Studio BONES in 2008 and ended in 2009. Soul Eater has a total of 51 episodes. The first 35 episodes of Soul Eater were partially faithful to the Manga. But while BONES were still animating Soul Eater at the time, Atsushi Ōkubo wasn't done writing the Soul Eater Manga. So BONES had to take the Soul Eater anime into its own original route, since Atsushi Ōkubo wasn't done finishing the Manga.

With that being said, unfortunately the Soul Eater anime had to take its departure from its original source material from the Manga after episode 35. Let's just say, Soul Eater's anime route after episode 35, didn't bout so well. Especially its ending. Fans were left VERY disappointed! Atsushi Ōkubo FINALLY completed his Soul Eater Manga series in 2013, and fans were left with excitement after finish reading it, and very pleased about it! Fans have been wondering for a very long time if Studio BONES would go back to Soul Eater and reboot it and truly follow the Manga this time. BONES, sadly NEVER said a single word about rebooting the series.

It's very depressing. ESPECIALLY considering this is "Studio BONES!" These are the same people who animated Fullmetal Alchemist in 2003, and just like Soul Eater, the first half of FMA were faithful to the Manga, while the other half took its own anime route, since the FMA creator Hiromu Arakawa, wasn't done finishing the Manga yet. When Hiromu Arakawa was close to finishing the Fullmetal Alchemist Manga in 2010, Studio BONES quickly announced they were going to reboot their 2003 Fullmetal Alchemist and truthfully follow the FMA Manga faithfully, titled as Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood! The reboot was a MASSIVE SUCCESS! Pleasing both Fullmetal Alchemist fans and newcomers to the series! After the success of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood, this left fans speculating if BONES were going to do the same for Soul Eater. And unsurprisingly, BONES still haven't said a single word about it!

How in the world could they reboot Fullmetal and follow its source material, but not do the same for Soul Eater!? Fans have drawn the conclusion that it could be of Soul Eater's low popularity. Especially comparing it to Fullmetal Alchemist. Sadly, I believe that is the reason as well. But the question is, can you blame most of the fans? After Soul Eater's atrocity anime ending, and its horrible prequel series known as Soul Eater NOT, its no wonder the fans were turned off by the series. Now that series creator Atsushi Ōkubo has completed the Manga, its time for Studio BONES to give Soul Eater the Brotherhood treatment!

Will this petition get Studio BONES attention to do the Soul Eater reboot that we've been waiting for? If we can get as many members as possible and wake up and gather ALL the Soul Eater fans and even newcomers (if I've encouraged you if you wanna see the reboot too), hopefully this will encourage and show BONES that us Soul Eater fans still exist and still waiting for our Soul Eater reboot!
