Instead of making Escalona SAFER for pedestrians and cyclists,
the City is now proposing to get rid of the only bike lanes that exist on Escalona from Highland to Storey.

We had asked that the bike lanes be extended and sharrows placed on the rest of Escalona since it is a designated bike route in the City's transportation plans.

So, we're taking our case to the City Council on Tuesday.
