So I’m from California and went to travel to Florida  and I was amazed by the fact that some of the streetlights had unique colors like blue and purple. I know this sounds and probably is really dumb, but I just wanted to normalize having streetlights with unique colors nationwide like the one previously mentioned. I mean can you imagine walking at night or driving by and you see these beautiful lights, people will feel more comfortable, and you can even go and see them with your children and family. Now, I know your thinking, how is this going to help us? Well think of it like this, depression and suicide rates have been going off the charts. Colors like blue and purple (depending on which shade) are comfort colors when we’re sad. So not only can the streetlights be colorful and cool, but they can also be comforting to us who are struggling with sadness. And think about the people who can’t afford to go visit the colorful streetlights or don’t even know about them. I think this idea is cool and if you don’t then I respect that. But I do know that this idea could have a lot of potential and maybe can spread across America. I don’t need your money, all I want is to spread this idea around and maybe we can convince California or the government to put up more colorful streetlights like blue and purple.
