While we wait for the court to return its opinion in Hachette v. Internet Archive, the publishers' lawsuit against our library that led to the removal of 500,000 books, we'd like to share some coverage of the proceedings:
Listen to the episode of "Why Is This Happening? The Chris Hayes Podcast" featuring broadcaster Chris Hayes in conversation with Internet Archive's founder and digital librarian, Brewster Kahle, and librarian and lawyer, Kyle K. Courtney.
What else have people been saying about the lawsuit?
- "Appeals court seems lost on how Internet Archive harms publishers" (Ars Technica)
- "A Response to Hachette v. Internet Archive from Mehtab Khan" (Library Futures)
- "A Response to Hachette v. Internet Archive from Michelle Wu" (Library Futures)
- "Digital versus Digitized: On the Hachette v. Internet Archive Appeal Oral Argument" (Disruptive Library Technology Jester)
