Good news! The Senate bill that will allow all of Missouri's public universities to offer PhDs and other doctorates recently passed its committee with a vote of 5-2. Hopefully it will soon go before the whole Missouri Senate for a vote.

Now we need the House bill(s) to pass out of committee. If we can get this legislation moving in both chambers, we're more likely to win this fight. The House bills (HB 90 & HB 616), which are the same, have a hearing and possible vote TODAY (Wed, March 26) at 4:30pm, possibly later.
