Let Farmers Lead the Way! Sign the Farmers' Declaration on Regenerative Agriculture.

Let Farmers Lead the Way! Sign the Farmers' Declaration on Regenerative Agriculture.
The Issue
As the concept of Regenerative Agriculture continues to grow in popularity, governments to private companies to activist organizations have adopted their own definitions to align with their interests and experience, all while putting farmers in a reactive position as policies and markets change. The Global Farmer Network invites you to sign the Declaration and join us as we affirm our commitment to regenerative agriculture:
We, as farmers, affirm our commitment to regenerative agriculture as a pathway to improve ecological functions of farming, feed our communities safe and nutritious food, and secure a thriving future for generations to come with dignity and well-being of farming communities as top of mind.
As farmers,
· We believe regenerative agriculture is the way forward. We stand for regenerative production, knowing it holds the past, the present, and the promise of future generations.
· We commit to practices that improve soil health, water quality, and mitigate impacts on the environment. Regenerative agriculture is a living practice – rooted in responsibility and respect for the land.
· We rely on science, innovation, and technology — both traditional knowledge and modern practices — to guide our journey toward resilience. We recognize that real change requires access to resources so all farmers can thrive and feel pride and dignity as a farmer.
· We call on and welcome the initiative of all farmers, especially of young people. Their energy, creativity, and dedication to regenerative agriculture are essential. Regenerative agriculture is an opportunity for the next generation to lead, to create positive perspectives, and to shape their own future with positive impact.
This is where we, the global farmers, stand: to produce high quality food, feed, fuel, fiber, and forests, for resilient and dignified farming lives, and for a future that both nourishes and brings peace to people and planet — not just today or tomorrow, but for generations to come.
